Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Helsinki, Nordic Capital
Fly into Helsinki. Transfer to your hotel, check in and freshen up, with a guided Helsinki city tour if time allows. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Helsinki (Scandic / Radisson).
Day 2 — Scenic Journey to Lapland
Breakfast and checkout. Guided Helsinki city tour: Senate Square & Cathedral, Sibelius Monument, Market Square & Old Market Hall. Board the overnight Santa Claus Express train to Lapland.
Day 3 — Santa Claus Village & Northern Lights
Arrive in Lapland. Visit the Santa Claus Village — meet Santa and cross the Arctic Circle. Transfer to Kuusamo and head out for your first Northern Lights hunt in the evening.
Day 4 — Reindeer Safari & Ruka Ski Center
Authentic reindeer farm visit and peaceful reindeer safari. Spend two hours at Ruka Ski Center at leisure, then head out again in the evening for another Northern Lights adventure.
Day 5 — Husky Adventure & Snowmobiling Ride
A day of Arctic nature and adrenaline: an unforgettable husky sled ride followed by a thrilling snowmobiling experience. End the day with another magical Northern Lights tour.
Day 6 — Checkout & Glass Igloo
Checkout and, at 2:30 PM, check into your glass igloo — your private Arctic bubble. Relax and, if lucky, watch the Northern Lights from the comfort of your bed.
Day 7 — Wildlife & Return Journey
Visit Ranua Wildlife Park to see polar bears, Arctic foxes, lynx and other Nordic wildlife. In the evening, board your overnight train back to Helsinki.
Day 8 — Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. End of your memorable Finland journey.
