Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Helsinki — Nordic Capital Welcome
Fly from your home country and arrive in Helsinki. Guide & driver greet you at arrival hall at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (signboard: Trekking Trails Travels DMC Oy). Board private vehicle and transfer to hotel. Check in, freshen up, and join your guided Helsinki city tour (if time allows). Evening at leisure — rest well for the journey ahead. Overnight: Scandic / Radisson, Helsinki.
Day 2 — Guided Tour of Helsinki & Night Train to Lapland
Have breakfast and check out at 12 PM. Transfer to train station; store bags at lockers (€4 – self-pay). Guided city tour: Senate Square & Helsinki Cathedral, Sibelius Monument, Market Square & Old Market Hall, harbour front. Board Santa Claus Express at 7:29 PM (standard class · 12 hours). Sleeper cabin upgrade available on request.
Day 3 — Santa Claus Village & First Northern Lights
Arrive in Lapland at 7:10 AM — step into a true winter wonderland. Visit the magical Santa Claus Village: Meet Santa, cross the Arctic Circle, explore the festive village. Transfer to Kuusamo (approx. 2.5 hrs) & check in. Evening: first Northern Lights hunt with scenic stops under the Arctic sky. Overnight: Holiday Club / Scandic, Kuusamo.
Day 4 — Reindeer Safari & Ruka Ski Center
Hearty Finnish breakfast, then meet your guide for an authentic reindeer farm visit. Peaceful reindeer safari (1.5 km) through snowy landscapes — a true Lapland tradition. Full photo & video coverage downloadable via cloud link. 2 hours at Ruka Ski Center — relax, explore, shop, or enjoy the snowy scenery. Return to hotel, then Northern Lights adventure in the evening. Overnight: Holiday Club / Scandic, Kuusamo.
Day 5 — Husky Adventure & Snowmobiling Ride
Today is all about Arctic nature and adrenaline!. 5 km husky sled ride through snowy forest trails. Thrilling snowmobiling experience (10–15 km) across Arctic landscapes. End your day with a magical Northern Lights tour (3 hours). Overnight: Holiday Club / Scandic, Kuusamo.
Day 6 — Checkout & Glass Igloo Check-in
After breakfast, check out and get ready for a luxury experience. At 2:30 PM: Check into your Glass Igloo — your private Arctic bubble under the sky. Relax and watch the Northern Lights dance above you from the comfort of your bed. Overnight: Magical Pond Glass Igloo.
Day 7 — Wildlife Park & Return Journey to Helsinki
After breakfast and check-out, visit Ranua Wildlife Park (4 hours). See polar bears, Arctic foxes, lynx and other Nordic wildlife. Final shopping time at Ruka Ski Center. Transfer to train station — board overnight return train to Helsinki.
Day 8 — Departure — End of Memorable Finland Journey
9:00 AM — arrive in Helsinki, proceed to the airport for return flight home. Transfer to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. End of your unforgettable Finland journey.
